KCON LA 2025: The Ultimate K-Pop Fan Experience Returns!
The world's largest K-pop fan and artist festival, KCON LA 2025, hosted by CJ ENM, is just around the corner! This highly anticipated event, known for its diverse attractions encompassing Korean culture and lifestyle, along with high-quality stages, has consistently garnered significant attention in the global entertainment hub of the United States. This year, KCON LA 2025 promises to return with even more evolved content and exclusive stages, offering an unparalleled experience for K-pop enthusiasts and artists alike.
What to Expect: Immersive Experiences and Special Stages
Running for three days from August 2nd to 4th (KST), KCON LA 2025 is designed to deliver unexpected joy through its innovative spatial arrangements and fan programs that maximize interaction between fans and artists. Attendees can look forward to a wide array of events to experience Korean lifestyle, including food, beauty, and content booths. Moreover, numerous special stages will showcase the true essence of K-pop. KCON, a pioneer in globalizing Korean culture, is expected to once again prove its worth with distinctive content this year.
A Star-Studded Lineup: From Legendary Actors to Rising Rookies
KCON LA 2025 will be packed with stages featuring diverse charms throughout its three-day run.
Day 1: The festival kicks off with a special opening featuring renowned actor Lee Byung-hun. The "global super rookie" girl group izna will unveil their "Golden" stage for the first time. For the "K-POP Generation" stage, celebrating Mnet's 30th anniversary, rookie boy group NOWZ will perform a cover of Stray Kids' "MANIAC." Additionally, Lee Young-ji and ZEROBASEONE's Sung Han-bin will deliver a special performance.
Day 2: The M Countdown stage will feature Yuqi (from (G)I-DLE) and ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao in a special collaboration. ZEROBASEONE's Seok Matthew and Park Gun-wook will present a unique stage for global fans, while ZEROBASEONE's Kim Tae-rae and Roy Kim will perform their first-ever duet. The "K-POP Generation" stage will see global boy group JO1 performing SEVENTEEN's "Fear."
Day 3: The "K-POP Generation" stage will heat up the Crypto.com Arena with girl group MEOVV performing Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra" in a version specially arranged by Teddy. izna, formed through an Mnet survival project, will offer a fresh reinterpretation of IZ*ONE's "FIESTA." Furthermore, the stage for Hoshi X Woozi (HxW) from SEVENTEEN, featuring their Mnet "Street Woman Fighter" leader class mission song "ECHO! (Prod. WOOZI)," will be revealed for the first time.
Beyond the Stage: Interactive Fan Zones and Hidden Gems
The "Festival Grounds" at the LA Convention Center will host various engaging programs from 10 AM, designed to enhance audience immersion. The popular "Hidden Space," first introduced at KCON Japan 2025, will make its debut in LA, offering a customized self-photo zone. The "Signature Photo Zone," visually incorporating KCON logos and thematic elements, will serve as a representative photo spot for attendees to commemorate their visit, truly embodying the spirit of a K-pop fan and artist festival.
In addition to diverse booths for beauty, fashion, food, and content, there will be live stages throughout the day. These include the Artist Stage, resembling a full concert; the Showcase, a gateway for rookie artists to enter the global stage; and Meet & Greet sessions, providing special moments for fans to directly interact with their favorite artists. Don't miss the "K-Content by CJ ENM" booth, showcasing CJ ENM's representative content, and a special fan meeting with actor Im Si-wan, a key figure in the global K-culture phenomenon.
Since its inception in Irvine, USA, in 2012, KCON has played a pioneering role in spreading the Hallyu wave by presenting a festival model that encompasses overall culture, centered around music content. Held in 14 regions worldwide, including Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the US, KCON has attracted a cumulative audience of 2.1 million attendees to date. KCON LA 2025, with CJ Olive Young as its title sponsor, will take place over three days from August 1st to 3rd at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center in Los Angeles.
